MUSEUMS

Jewellery has only been recently seriously considered as of art history. However museums have always featured selections of pieces as an example of what certains people manufactured and wore at certains times, according to the garments and regions they were worn in.

One of the perks of traveling is to be able to visit museums and here is a list of the ones that might interest you, either for knownledge, visiting or research. One of them, a personal favourite, has not been given enough attention, so if you're ever in Vicenza, please visit the Museo del Gioiello.
